The Spring 2024 Forum Literary Magazine class held its student-run, student-led reading on Friday, May 3. The reading was nestled in a pedestrian street between Trinity Books and Escape from New York Pizza in Downtown San Francisco. Trinity Books and Escape for New York supported the event, co-hosting and letting readers and the audience use their space.
The event featured three readers: Samantha Randolph read a short story; stevie redwood read poetry that touched on topics including the ongoing terror in Gaza; and Zedekiah Gonsalves Schild read poetry that also spoke to issues local and international. The three readings were followed by an intermission and an open mic, during which local poets, authors, activists, and friends of CCSF read their work and work that inspires them.

This Lit Night was the third reading event of the Spring 2024 term.
Join us for the Forum magazine launch party, which will be the next reading (and the final one of Spring 2024) on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Medicine for Nightmares in the Mission District.
